Volunteers
HDSC cannot exist without volunteers. Anyone with an interest in seeing the club thrive is warmly invited to get involved. Whatever your time-availability, skills or interests, there will be a role which will work for you and the club will cover all agreed training fees.
Roles include:
- Team Managers: swimmer support at competitions
- Technical Positions: such as Judges and Timekeepers
- Fundraising & Event Volunteers: ad-hoc help with social and fundraising events
- Committee roles: as per table below

Committee & Trustees
The Committee exists to uphold the club’s constitution, execute the club’s business in an orderly and transparent way and is essential to the club’s membership of Swim England and to its status as a Swim Mark accredited club. The committee is a healthy mixture of older and newer members with a range of skills and backgrounds. There is an Annual General Meeting in January each year to appoint the membership. New committee members are welcome and encouraged.
Trustees who oversee the governance and management of the Charity are Eve Hawkins, Terry Wilkinson, Jacqui Lewis, Barry Saunders, Stephanie Bellamy and Meirav Sasson.
